Sorry to burst some bubbles in here but even if this technology is far further along than demonstrated, the science behind it only allows for a few hundred meters from the initial laser. This could only potentially explain a few instances if these lasers are capable of full on 3d shapes. A lot of the images I saw using laser plasma are very basic shapes/small scale.

Normal lasers, on the other hand, especially high powered ones, have a far greater distance in terms of how far they can go. Hence why a lot of lasers are illegal to use in public without a permit in the US if they’re past a certain class. (3B) and especially illegal to shoot off in the sky without a FAA permit

Their accuracy in creating images at far distances isn’t really used either, as normal lasers have to terminate on a surface in order to display an image.

Think mist or fog or a solid object, even then they’d go past said mist/fog until they hit a solid object. This «laser plasma» is an entirely separate technology than what normal public spaces use in terms of lasers. Any laser technician wouldn’t be attempting to create images on a far away surface, though either way. It’d be unsafe practice so I doubt that their use in creating far distance images has even been tested

I regularly deal with class 4 lasers that’s why Im so fascinated by this and had to add a little info/perspective.

I’m absolutely thrilled for what the future on concert production will bring when this technology hits the public.

things like being able to create a 3D shape in the distance and able to move that projection as well as modify it. Things like modulating clouds that stay coherent perhaps.

since it could be a projection you could move this very fast across the sky, like you might wave a flashlight across a wall faster than you can run

Also the idea of police being able to remotely project images and sound is not my favorite, if they ever get this working and on drones I’m not a fan

This is what I think the Tic-Tac Fravor saw was. I think a new system was being tested on his squadron. In conjunction with the projection, they used radar spoofing to make the object «real» on their systems.

What if the whole affair is 2% true and 98% Blue Beam. That would suck because they should be focusing on climate change.

I like volumetric displays and as such research them occasionally. I recently found something called fairy lights. It allows for the creation of plasma at relatively far distances from the pulse laser used for projection. I do not know how it interacts with radar/ir sensors but it’s cool anyways. Will say that you would probably need a pretty massive machine to project a life sized object like a plane. Probably would also need dedicated asic hardware for the display engine.

Naturally Forbes has to create an alternate explanation to the UAP/NHI situation. If the U.S. released any sort of open source unlimited clean energy technology, they’d have to redo their whole list.

It’s countermeasure technology to fool ir missiles. It literally generates a filament of high intensity IR emitting plasma pretty close to the plane.

It doesn’t show up on radar or appear miles from a jet.

The talking plasma ball video linked in that article is insane, I didnt think that was possible but the video proves the concept. Combined with current voice ai tech and they could project anyones voice
