Ali was really informed, even referenced the «swamp gas» diversion and probably nailed the reason why a higher intelligence doesn’t attempt contact,
> *»… can’t get no sense out of the people here…»*
Further proof of his strong character, lived his life independent of public opinion, no matter the cost inferred by his fame.
The way he kept going despite the laughter was beautiful to see. The comments in here disparaging him on account of his profession have no clue of the integrity, wisdom and intelligence of this wonderful man.
He was big in more than a way. A man with integrity.
I hate seeing the knee jerk ridicule people had for the subject. But then I realize they’re acting like that due to the military and intel agencies; they were trying to get the citizens to not take it seriously, while they were.
Does no one here know anything about the Nation of Islam, his faith (at least at the time). It’s a considered an UFO religion
A great interview of Muhammad Ali on the Johnny Carson show. Here he explains about the things he saw up in the sky and even closer to his home. The courage this man must have had while being ridiculed by Carson and the audience makes him such a great man. I never knew he was really into UFOs. He even studied them at night and knew all the information we all know. The government can not be trusted when it comes to UFO’s.
This is actually really sad… he was a brave man for saying such things during that time.
Makes my blood boil see him trying to talk about UFO’s as a serious topic and johnny and everybody else being like “oh really huh? Haha crazy stuffffff”. The tone back then definitely seems different than it does now. When Obama brought up ufos (kinda) people weren’t exactly laughing at him
Ever notice how many celebrities claim to have seen UFOs? When you consider the number of sightings in a population, it seems highly disproportional for this many celebrities to have seen or encountered the phenomenon. If you consider Jacques Vallée’s theory of the control system, it would make sense that the phenomenon would target influential people more than regular people. just speculating ..
More infuential people than we realise have had experiences. John Lennon being another.
Don’t you find it frustrating that most people always say the same thing…Oh your crazy thats not a thing its a satelite. Makes me think the people that say that are the aliens.
Consider johnny carson asking muhammad » are you sure your ok the fight?» as a legitemet question from an alien perspective because he is totally aware of the stress that alien contact comes with.
Johnny Carson – “you know with still pictures they can… Phony those up?“ Who knew that A.I. was a thing back in the 70s?
I think Mohammed Oli discussing UFOs on the Johnny Carson show was just the wrong platform to discuss a topic like that without getting laughed out of the room.
And yet this sub has ridiculed every person to come out since. This sub is filled with those who test vourage and attack and then do the thinking and rational discourse later.

He also said in interviews white people were literal devils and demons lol
People also believe a man built a boat and gathered a billion different species and floated around while a rainstorm covered the earth in water.
That doesn’t make them right and it in no way precludes Ali from criticism because his beliefs happen to align with yours. That’s not how science works.
It is, however, how cults behave.
He was a crazy virulent racist.
This is why they changed the flight test days from Tuesdays and Thursdays to Wednesdays when Lazar recorded it with Lear.
Ali was a believer early on in the nation of islam. They believe their founder faard Muhammad lives in a ufo that is going to come pick up all the faithful NOI members. That’s why he believes in ufo’s
he also believed an alien mothership would one day come and sweep up all the muslims, and leave the evil white people behind. as someone from an indian hindu family, i’m not exactly sure where that leaves me lol.
it should also be noted that he later renounced these beliefs in favour of traditional islam. he called his lifelong (white) trainer Angelo Dundee, when the leader of the cult known as the ‘Nation of Islam’, elijah muhammed, died, and he’d renounced the nation of islam, and said «Angelo! we can be friends now!» Dundee responded «we were already friends Muhammed.»
If you’re gonna talk about Ali’s belief in UFOs, you should also know where that belief came from and what it was tied to. there’s some pretty awful people and beliefs that were the origin those aspects of Ali.
Ali was a great man, but far from perfect. and his interest in UFOs is tied to the not so positive side of his story. i don’t think you would see this as some big win for ufo belief if you knew more of the history of that cult…
