The story was covered by The Guardian, Times, Daily Mail, Independent and New York Times to my knowledge. It was the subject of a New York Times podcast.
Realize that the allegations that we the public heard/saw are the tip of the iceberg. Grusch and others were able to provide the “cold hard proof” we all want, legally to congress in closed-door meetings that already happened (under oath). This is far from “one man’s testimony”.
There’s nothing but hearsay to cover. One man’s word does not make water tight evidence. Cold hard proof is needed!

Explosive allegations come and go. The ones that have staying power have more to support them than hearsay.
Let’s give Grusch a little time to prove his allegations of crashed alien UFO’s and dead aliens…a little time, but not indefinitely.

I’m just genuinely confused…..
A lot of people seem to be saying this is just one man’s heresay testimony, where’s the proof?
A legitimate point, except that he says he has the proof, but the DoD won’t let him reveal it. They gave him limited permission to do interviews, but would not allow him to release the evidence that backs him up.
So it’s a classic Catch-22 situation. If he reveals the classified info that proves him wrong, he gets arrested and goes to jail. If he doesn’t, he’s accused of making it all up and not providing proof. The government laughs at the trap they created for him.
But here’s the thing: If what he’s saying is a lie, how could the evidence he has be classified? It must be lies, BS, a nothing-burger. Releasing it could not possibly harm national security, because it would just be made up nonsense.
So the mere fact that the DoD won’t allow him to release the evidence he claims to have strongly, and I mean STRONGLY, suggests that what he’s saying is the truth.
And of course there have been whistleblowers in the past, but no one as highly placed in the security apparatus as he is. No one with his clearances. Even so, his account matches some others, like Bob Lazar, who were much lower on the scale. And we must remember, Grusch was literally tasked with the job of investigating what the government knew about UFOs and ET contact. Literally, this was his job. And he was frustrated that what was being reported to congress didn’t match up with what he had found to be true from numerous sources and evidence. And so that made him choose the whistleblower route.
And so here we are, with people demanding proof from him, that he’s not allowed to reveal. He’s revealed it to high security meetings in congress, but again, he can’t reveal it to us. But members of congress who have seen it are extremely impressed, even gobsmacked by what they have seen. So let’s not pile on him until we’ve seen the evidence he’s already given to those with security clearances.
And rather than pressuring him to reveal his evidence (which would land him in prison), let’s put pressure on the DoD to declassify this info and let us see at least some of it. Like Roswell or the Italian crash retrieval, which shouldn’t be classified in any case being so long ago.

I agree, it is no accident. I suspect that mainstream media relies on a good relationship with the DoD for information and they don’t want to jeopardize it by amplifying Grusch.
What threatens our society is rampant speculation. Nobody should be too excited until actual evidence is produced. There’s so much wild conjecture going on and the UFO community wonders why they’re still considered kooks? Y’all need some cold water thrown on your imaginations. Get on YouTube and watch some corridor crew debunking the UFO videos for a little reality check.

You think the mainstream media is going to report on some guy telling a podcast host that there are crashed UFOs no one knows about that are so big they are hidden inside buildings?

As a Conservative, seeing the media colluding by ignoring something they should be covering is nothing new. We have to keep pushing forward regardless. We need to make sure Congress does their part in exposing the truth. At some point they will not be able to ignore it.

Because Grusch is simply not credible. He’s told demonstrable untruths. He is friends with the usual carnival of UFO freaks. He also is clearly not 100% right in the head.

It’s not that extraterrestrials would ruin things for the “elites”. Well, it probably would, but that’s not the issue.
The issue is that it’s NOT extraterrestrials, at least not how we think of them. The beings flying and/or controlling the craft are 100% humans that have disconnected their relationship with Earth, using ancient technology left behind by our evolutionary ancestors.
The fact that those in power have known this and have zero control or any kind of tech even near them would instantly topple the elites from power.
Basically they’d have to admit they’ve been lying and are not “top dog” of the human species. They’re just as powerless as we peasants are when compared to the tech these breakaway humans have.

I’m so convinced after listening to the nyt opinion podcast about this topic that they’re all just too cool to admit that they are curious about something as out there as aliens and ufos.

I listened to the interview. Ezra was well prepared for the interview and did a great job of posing the most common concerns in a respectful manner.
Sadly, Leslie had no strong rebuttal for any of his concerns. She basically admitted that she doesn’t understand why he was cleared to speak publicly. She can’t explain why what he said doesn’t violate his security clearance oath. She admits that the story is built on hearsay. She can’t explain why no digital files have been leaked, when this is the easiest way for a whistleblower to remain anonymous. She can’t explain why nobody with firsthand knowledge has come forward.
If you wanted to have the credibility of the event bolstered, this interview only undermines it.
