If it was skunkworks, why would they risk testing so close to military when they know it could inadvertently cause military conflict? Why risk billions? I agree it’s not China or Russia but skunkworks also seems unlikely.

Look, I dont know this guy Burchett’s politics, I get the impression we’re probably not aligned on most things. But dammed if this dude isn’t saying out loud, all the things we’ve been needing somebody in government to say. Just common sense stuff too. He’s putting his money where his mouth is.
