On the 23rd Aug. 1974 at 9 o’clock John Lennon was lying naked in his bed when he ‘got an urge’ and went out onto his balcony where he saw a large, circular object with a rim that was covered in white lights, plus a blinking red light on the top.
Lennon took photos with two different cameras, but no pictures emerged. He called the police and was told that they’d received many similar calls. With no explanation forthcoming, Lennon did the only thing he could. He left a cryptic message about it on the inside of his next record

All the folks in here commenting about how he was on LSD or mushrooms at the time make me realize a lot of people aren’t actually familiar with these substances.
I love videos like this. Because for staunch skeptics it’s very hard to explain away. I understand being skeptical and questioning things. I question pretty much everything. But some people are just ridiculous with it. They don’t want to know the truth, for whatever reason. Maybe they’re scared? Who knows? But I notice certain people no matter what you show them or explain to them they will find some way to not be reasonable about it.
Also I’ll say I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this thing was hovering within a stones throw of one of the most famous people on the planet at the time. Especially considering numerous other people reported seeing this same thing, so it wasn’t a hallucination or anything or that sort.
He just made this story up to get famous.
John Lennon experience and later spiritual life with his wife Yoko Ono may be interesting from the phenomenon perspective. I don’t know if anyone has done much research.

I always think these people might enjoy our culture and especially our music. Someone probably just wanted to see who this John Lennon is and checked him out like a human groopy.

One would think there would have been thousands of other witnesses to a ‘flying saucer’ above one of the world’s largest cities, particularly one so low that Lennon could have hit it with a thrown stone (in his words)…any evidence that there was even one additional witness, other than Lennon allegedly saying the police said there were other calls?

At around 6 o’clock lennon ‘innocently’ had some letters to post, tucked into his wallet to find the stamps and inadvertently placed several microdots on his tongue, for some bizarre reason stripped naked and led on his bed with his now alien wife, and proceeded to nano-nano

This is shown time and time again, which—combined with the inherent difficulties in capturing direct evidence—is why the debunker’s have such a strong case.
We should be empathetic to this fact, not embrace these banal claims simply because he’s a celebrity.

It’s absolutely possible to see things. It’s absolutely possible to see things and think it’s real. It’s absolutely possible to do so many of them that you can hallucinate while you think you’ve already come down.
Drugs were different back then and acid was (from what I’ve heard) a helm of a lot better.
This sighting would have been massive and wouldn’t have just included John Lennon.
