The gain is . They keep the technology in the private sector so the public can’t gain access to
As well as gain income from private military contractors in the new technology by investing in them
Those three have large returns on their investments
Call it bipartisan if you want
Right is right an wrong is wrong
They look stupid for blocking this and just not admitting what they know
Like the whole world isn’t aware
Just greedy bastards period
The government as a whole is a toiket bowl
Needs to be flushed!!
They don’t call them The Party of «No.» for nothing…
What do they gain from not telling us about the aliens?
Term limits will fix shit like this. Lawmakers must prioritize constituents, not campaign funding
If the GQP is trying to block ufo transparency you can be damn sure they have something to hide.
Little did we know that Naruto run into Area 51 was the best plan for disclosure yet.
It’s not 3 of them, it’s the system and its all of them.
The United States as a whole is the villain of this story, through the wilful abuse of its leaders and the ignorance and neglect of its population.
The US is obviously the most evil global superpower. (Yes, I think they’ve caused more indirect harm than, for example, Russia has caused direct harm)
His fault and these others that speak on and “investigate” UAPs and NHI’s. Release things that are verifiable and have meat on them, to where the average citizen can see the blockade. The rate at which these guys pretend to be surprised by the government..governmenting, kinda annoys me.
They call Lawmakers colluding to block legislation a congressman or senator . And it’s strictly bipartisan.
This happens by the opposition, on every bill and amendment that’s voted on .
Sometimes it works, sometimes not .
Ross being from Australia, must not yet fully understand our political system.
Can only 3 lawmakers block a bill?
Anyone have any news on this yet or know where to follow??
I see this from a purely political standpoint: if I had to guess, continued conservative obstruction on this, may have something to do with how this topic intersects with social conservativism of their constituents.
Religiosity is directly correlated to conservative beliefs, and it’s on the decline in this country. Revelations about the existence of beings that are godlike, and not in line with mainstream Christian beliefs, could further errode religiosity.
This makes sense when you consider conservativism is at best skeptical and at worst hostile to science and public education, broadly. Both are historically seen as enemies of religion and social conservativism. They need to maintain their base of support in order to stay in power.
If this subject begins to gain more public interest, I would not be surprised of we begin to see public figures and right wing news outlets paint «aliens» as «demonic» and/or part of a radical left wing/Marxist/woke etc. agenda to undermine religion and the nuclear family.
Why are Republicans always the bad guys in every situation??
It takes more than 3 to block this.
Mitch McConnel,Speaker of the House Mike Johnson are against the UAP amendment and want to keep this out of the public eye.
There are several others, all Republicans dependent on the the evangelical vote.
