  1. I’m upvoting you for this. All jokes aside, you make a good point. Humans only naturally live on about 30% of the planet. We visit the other 70%. An excellent place to hide a large “anything,” and to travel all across the globe with impunity, would be under the ocean. It’s one thing to monitor our skies and atmosphere for anomalies. It’s an entirely desperate endeavor to monitor the oceans. In a way, our oceans are a barrier we can never truly interact with in the same way we do any other medium. Not to mention the extensive cave system under the continents.

  2. Well, how come aliens don’t just help us out with the whole garbage island thing floating around. The thought of that things just makes me uneasy and I’m sure they could do it easily…but I guess if mom and dad clean up our mess all the time we’ll never learn to do it for ourselves, fuckin’ humans 😞

  3. Oh yeah, they’re definitely in the ocean. The stories of a technologically advanced civilization sinking into the sea, who started populations and gave humans technology and wisdom, etc. have been around forever. All the pieces fit

  4. A sufficiently advanced species would not dwell on the surface of a planet. think about UV radiation, cataclysm, exposure to hostile marauding civilizations. They could settle their craft (large ones the size of cities) on the ocean floor or burrow down into the crust, where they can tap into infinite geothermal energy to power their cities and observational craft. They could have come here millions of years ago to observe evolutionary processes and perhaps even tinker with genetics. The depths of the Great lakes would also make a comfy and discrete home to tiny advanced humanoids and their techno-crafts.

  5. My personal leading hypothesis is they are an old civilization living in the ocean but also on land and operate in all mediums.

Through the use of advanced tech such as visual projections similar to that of VR Headset but without the headset they’ve been able to confuse us in their origin, and existence.

  6. About a year ago, I made a similar post

    https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/yvcq5b/this_is_our_planet_im_sure_theres_nowhere_for/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1

The reason I’m bringing this up again is because of recent relevations and discussions, but people keep forgetting how big the stupid ocean is.

It’s huge, it dominates our planet . It controls everything from weather patterns to where you can live.

Though it might not be true about UFOs coming from the ocean, I don’t think anybody can say for sure it’s not because not all of this is explored

  7. I think the concept of saying that NHIs are hiding is a bit misleading. If they were really trying to hide, you wouldn’t see them and/or they wouldn’t be here.

Also, NHIs don’t seem to be hiding all that much. They’re harassing military bases, pilots, slowly flying over metropolis’s and landing next to schools during recess. This isn’t even touching on abductions.

Also, a species that advanced can just as easily hide in space, the sky or other dimensions. Or in volcanoes. Or be right next to you, invisible.

I’m sure there’s shit in the ocean, but it’s not like it’s any more special that anywhere else.

And again, if they didn’t want you to discover them, you wouldn’t find them. Even if they were in the ocean.

If we did “discover” something in the oceans, they’re either expecting/wanting us to discover it or are indifferent to us discovering it.

  8. As much as I would love to believe all UFOs/UAPs come from outside of our planet, it would seem in the pursuit of seeing that to be true it was overlooked that the possibility and odds of undiscovered intelligent life co-existing in our oceans would seemingly be more likely. Given the evidence of multiple hominid species existing on the planet together within the last 250k years, there could be a possibility that a hominid-like species could have evolved in the ocean. I’m not an expert, this is really just anecdotal, but a fun thought.
