Regarding the couple UAP orb videos, this video shows how spherical drones need airflow to create lift using their rotors. It’s called the Bernoulli principle.
Without airflow helicopters and drones cannot sustain lift.
If you covered it up with anything it wouldn’t fly. That would restrict the airflow.
Mini Death Stars
That’s a nice helicopter wrapped in a ball.
Another important observation about this:
Because it is using propellers for flight, it tilts in the direction it is flying. It does not stay upright while moving.
I know this wasn’t posted to wow us, but is anyone else not that impressed? A drone with a round exterior in effect (I know it’s a bit different, but c’mon).

Me: Ha, no … I [saw a metal sphere](https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/14odz34/i_saw_a_strange_cannonball_flying_past_in_the/) fly past me in the eighties.
I also sort of doubt it wasn’t the a Pentagon-designed drone. If it was, why are they building drones shaped like aircraft, forty years later?
Don’t worry, guys, the added weight of my design *also impedes the airflow*!
Yes they can. The NHIs have a solid wrapping on theirs.
What if you put a highly reflective metallic netting around it? Would it still fly?
I can see the propulsion
Thanks for posting this. I enjoyed this and some of the replies that gave more information on this type of device.
Did it exist in the 70” ?
Just funny that’s from 11yrs around that kind of technology has only gotten worse
My nephews have a toy version of this they can “throw” to each other using guidance avoidance and their hands.
This was from 11 years ago. Think about how it might have evolved.
Yeah but this is an 11 year old video, probably then 15 year old tech. Things evolve.

So where is the video of this thing doing 10K+ mph and going from air to water with no resistance?
Yeah, you could 3D print a ring to enclose a drone into. As long as the top and bottom are open to allow airflow (like the «orb» video from yesterday), it should fly perfectly fine. They make metallic filaments for 3D printers and you could just use vase mode to print the thing in about 15 minutes; all you need is a very basic understanding of Autodesk Fusion 360 and a $100 Ender 3. It wouldn’t even add hardly any weight to the drone if you went with a very thin wall thickness.
The way drones move is super obvious and I just don’t get how so many people are so gullible.
I’m not sure how many of you have gone down the Forgotten Languages rabbit hole. If you haven’t you should. But they call the orbs MillOrbs and say they’re manmade.
Edit. For the people downvoting me, you really should check it out. Craziest stuff I’ve ever seen on the internet. 10 years later and I still have no idea what to make of it.
I deleted my original reply, because the title originally seem to say *they can have*.
Would it be more logical to say «***but*** they can’t have solid wrapping around them»?
Well then. Quality post. We have ball lightnings too. Way to go.
Just a reminder: this was 11 years ago by some barely funded students. 11 years ago we didn’t have consumer drones. Now imagine billions of dollars and resources like Boeing, Northrop-Grumman and Lockheed Martin, etc. I don’t think “orbs” are really a thing. Except that balloons are orb shaped … just another thing ufo YouTubers are doing to keep the topic fresh
