  4. Any international articles about this yet? Here in Finland when the initial Pentagon article came out, our biggest news agencies reported on it. So far nothing on this though, which is odd because this goes beyond US.

  6. Here’s a hot take. What Graves is doing here is not drip-feeding details leading up to proof. This story getting picked up by other news outlets does not on its own validate the story. No, Graves is serving a really important role and I think he knows it. He cannot legally share anything classified. If he showed a picture, even as a whistleblower, he’s going to prison. What he CAN do is blow the whistle and drum up public interest and attention such that the people who can share classified info are compelled to do so.

    If enough news readers are calling their elected reps, and if enough momentum for details rises to the right level, then we may see whole branches of government begin to reframe how this topic is discussed and what is shared. Graves is pushing a little snowball down a mountain side, and news coverage helps it turn into an avalanche.

    I write this because I see many people saying «pics or it didn’t happen.» And Graves just can’t deliver that. We shouldn’t expect him to. Nor should we view press coverage as validation. Everything that’s happening now is the prelude to more info, so long as the story doesn’t die on the vine. That’s why press mentions are important, not because they are evidence that Graves is being honest.

    I feel crazy reading stuff like this. You’re telling me people have laid eyes on actual extraterrestrials? Like all this time science has been launching massive telescopes into space, trying to answer the question of «are we alone?, and some secret government operatives have just been… recovering and cataloguing alien bodies? Like, there are supposed to be people out there who have actual contact with aliens on this Earth, and are somehow keeping that shit a secret? How do you sleep at night having seen what you’ve seen? How do you not tell another soul about it?

    I know we’re all obsessed with the craft and all, but I seriously don’t get how statements like these are just buried in the reports like it’s no big deal.

  29. I’ve been thinking about how things would change if it is officially announced that there are aliens out there. I have come to the conclusion that I would say «huh that’s cool» and then go back to my life. Unless the government says they are coming and want to blow up the planet, life will go on pretty normally really. It be a bit more interesting looking up at the stars but that’s about it.

Yes, Fox News posts a lot of extreme far right opinion trash, but they are still a news organization and not only that, the most watched one in the United States. Millions of people will be exposed to this story because of this coverage and it will get some people talking that otherwise would have just shrugged it off.
