Clipped from James Fox’s documentary Moment of Contact about the alleged 1996 Varginha, Brazil UFO crash and body retrieval. Military police officer Marco Chereze allegedly captured a creature with his bare hands and and later died of an unknown infection. Eric Lopes was his commanding officer and was allegedly driving the vehicle Chereze secured the creature inside of, making Lopes the only surviving witness of this alleged capture. In interviews with James Fox, he describes seeing Eric Lopes’ face as a haunting experience, like his trauma is written all over his face. Lopes is seen in this clip from a distance, waving a phone (edit) and telling the crew to leave. (Edit: “I will chase you away with bullets”) I zoomed and cropped and upped the contrast to try and get a better look.
His gun looks a lot like a cell phone.
As if all these people, Lopes included, would act like this if there was nothing to it … I mean come on. This man carries a heavy burden. He’s scared and protective.

Though if I wanted someone to talk, who was already extremely publicity shy… tearing u the driveway with 2+ cars and essentially a gang of people plus boom mikes.. is NOT how I would do it.
question.. if this was a murder case without a body, is there enough circumstantial evidence here to convict? It seems with so many people directly testifying, some with an official capacity….
but then… there IS a body isn’t there.

one thing that irked me in the doco… he gets a drawing of a footprint, then a description, but fails to clarify.. it seems to me the witness was showing 2 main toes and a third smaller one with his thumb, but they hung on the 2…. which he SHOULD have noted as a discrepancy in testimonies. I generally like his work but he does spend too much time documenting his documentary which makes him come off as a tad arrogant, though he may have just chosen a travelogue format to take us on the journey.. and as filler
It does look like a gun for 95% of the video. I came in late and swore it was a gun too.
I’m not defending all cops but man that’s not an easy job. I’m pretty sure I would have smoked about 20 dudes by mistake by now if I was a cop.
What’s the point of this? The guy doesn’t want to know anything with any of this, and you make this closeup to what end? So he will feel even more harassed? Even more closed about everything? I don’t understand what are you trying to achieve with this.
Looks like a phone to me not a gun.

Although it’s still not super clear, I can really get a sense of what Fox was talking about. There’s a certain intensity there. Super focused on all of them. Watching like a hawk & listening to every syllable, no matter the language.
It would be great to hear from him. I know he’s dead set on not coming forward & I can only imagine why. But I also wonder if speaking about it would be a catharsis for him.

For anyone saying I’m crazy and it’s just a normal looking face, that’s fine. I never said it was crazy looking. James Fox did. I just zoomed in so I could see for myself. And I shared here so you could too. Make your own assessment. And for anyone saying I’m responsible for harassment this guy gets, get real. He’s in a documentary. Zoom exists. It ain’t my fault. Peace.
If I ‘knew all of this’ I would find a way to leak it out if not directly. But then again looking at all what we know about ufos since 1947 — it already was done by so many, hence we know so much.
