Things in space are really hard to guess at. With no atmosphere to provide a sense of distance some the very small but close could appear very large. Also something very large and very far away could appear close. Not to mention things tumbling in the harsh unfiltered sunlight can appear to be flashing lights. So, it could be space junk, a satellite or a ufo.
I’m so dumb, I thought you meant captured as in *retrieved* at first ha.
What a strange video though, I don’t know enough to make any assumptions though.
to me this looks like a reflection on the glass between the camera and space. Its probably a display inside the ISS
I say this because of the way that its fixed in place despite the movement of the ISS

Someone needs to insist that NASA get better cameras… it’s the ISS for cripes sakes. Get it together man!
Just remember that the camera is mounted inside the ISS… Looking out a window. Some of these types of artifacts end up being explained by a crew member moving around with an object that has a light source behind the camera. It cracks me up, on another similar post there was accusations of NASA «cutting the feed» because of a UFO… Actually it was the opposite, a crew member coming up and turning off the feed camera caused the effect in the first place, they had a light source so they could see what they were doing.

That’s a mouse cursor. It is widely believed that it moves by the will of some entity called „the User“ (big U). The cursor has no visible propulsion or engine or energy source, is largely stationary but when it moves it accelerates at insane speeds and turns.
Some people claim it’s extradimensional.

Video needs more compression artifacts… I can still see the blob against the background
I don’t know if it would be this, but there are times when certain types of radiation/photons can hit a camera sensor and mess it up, happens when in space, especially with astronomy equipment.
Far as strange ISS videos, I wouldn’t even rate this top 50.

The fact that there is zero motion of this object relative to the camera makes me think it’s a reflection on the window of a light inside the ISS. A bit suspicious that they didn’t say when this happened and cropped out the time in the map view they included, so we couldn’t go look at the original.
I misread ISS first and thought it said ISIS lol. I was like damn girl look at you!
There are other similar artifacts on the video. Look just above the right corner of the satellite view.
Aliens aside, look how beautiful our planet is, it’s so cute and blue. EVERYTHING we know of is literally just on that ball, like how do we still fight over mundane shit, how are people still so selfish. This is supposed to be our paradise and we just make it a hell for our own selfs. I wish the aliens would telepathically fix us.
