I appreciate someone doing additional vetting. I don’t see it as a smear job.
Honestly knowing he has PTSD makes me more comfortable with him. I have thought he appears as if there’s something off with him mentally since his interview. PTSD is a non issue vs what it could be.
Ken exposed his own bullshit.
He said «I searched these people out» and admitted he purposely avoided anyone who had anything positive to say about Grusch. He was looking for the negative tidbits. Then says «it was because everyone else was saying positive things about Grusch»
As a journalist, your job is to stay balanced. Not balance reality inside your story because the facts just happened to be imbalanced outside your story. Meaning… Just because there was an overwhelming amount of positive things said about Grusch, balance is not achieved by seeking as many negative things you can find.
He wasn’t writing in a balanced way with journalistic integrity. He purposely set out to show negativity.
If others showed Grusch in a positive light and ignored any of his flaws, that could question Grusch’s claims, then they too were in the wrong.
But that’s not what happened. Grusch seemed to be past his issues. Enough so that the US Government allowed him to keep his Top Secret Clearance.
If the government was wrong in THAT, then start there. That’s what a good journalist would do but you better fucking prove that.
And if your story was a purposely written negative attack piece, then back it up, the way you want Grush to back it up.
It was a sloppy hit piece that Ken even admits is a hit piece. He justified his hit piece but it was still a hit piece.
Ken may be inadvertently helping our cause here .
Far more Americans deeply care about HIPPA laws and the privacy of their personal medical records, than UAP disclosure.
More Americans than many people realize deal or have dealt with some sort of mental health issue. .
This has great potential to blow up in Ken and his government sources face.
I’m pretty sure this is bullshit, or illegal.
You can’t use freedom of information act requests to get around HIPPA.
