Look, nothing about this should be depressing. Of course if you strip away our emotional attachment to existence and our lives then yes, everything is essentially pointless. But we have emotions, and we are existing. Sure in the grand scheme of it all it doesn’t matter, but I still have those close to me to care for, I still have myself to look after, still have a world to explore and a duty to care for it.
I also must say beyond a certain point in that video it crosses into theory. There are many differing thoughts by qualified figures on what happens in the far far future. It’s too soon to say one is correct. Hold the chips.

Suppose there exists «physical laws» and also suppose those laws allow for the simulation of reality governed by those physical laws. Somewhere in those 2 assumptions are hidden laws that give rise to brains, consciousness, and may be even free will. This is definitely not meaningless.

We should really put efforts into understanding and mastering the demonstrable reality before moving onto specualtive theories leaps and bounds from our objective reality.
It would most likely be the best way of getting to the bottom of those theories.
Your statement has nothing to do with disclosure. It’s just a catchphrase now. But simple said, you believe the universe is a conveyer belt recycling itself over and over. I agree 100%. No one knows how many times we have relived our lives in different ways. An infinite cycling machine.
Entropy is a result of the simulation. It cannot run endlessly, my guess is it costs a lot of energy to run the universe we are in, and so it has to be finite. As to what occurs when the simulation is shut down, who knows, maybe we go into another one, maybe it resets.
Why not just jump back to the start when we get close to the end of the universe
