Depends, I think that would be an easy answer, waiting for us to just destroy ourselves.

But, I think they are just waiting for us to destroy ourselves, however, I think it is far more sinister.

I think they made deals to keep certain families in power and when wars happen they most likely help one side over the other through telepathy (to give intelligence on certain weapons and how to create them based on the time (in 1066 it would have hanged everything had they given William of Orange nuclear weaponry and even if they had there was no way to build it at that time).

When I say certain families (look how long pretty much 1 family started all the monarchies in Europe, or how Egypt was basically one family, etc. Today it doesn’t matter those families by now are so rich government means nothing to them.

It’s like if you look at the Rothshild family, they seemed to have mysteriously came out of nowhere BUT made themselves extremely rich after they had devalued the British pound by selling making people believe Napoleon won Waterloo defeating Wellington. Then when everyone else sold at bottom prices, Rothshild bought everything up so that when it showed Napoleon in fact lost, they were filthy rich and pretty much owned Britain.

I think history is filled with interventions whether «physical or inspirational from implanting ideas telepathically».

This could apply to «religion» as well.

Then again we could very well be in a simulation and everything is already predetermined.

But I honestly believe, as conspiratorial as it sounds that they have altered our history in many ways to lead us to lead us to a conclusion we seem bound for very soon. One that may very well be their way of «terraforming» this planet to make it habitable for themselves.

It’s not entirely unfounded. The US was in a very existential time in history with the Cold War. We literally believed western values could completely crumble to authoritarianism, making mankind worse overall.

One of our key strategic footholds was controlling global energy reserves, and still is to this day. So long as the US dominates oil chokepoints, no one in the world has the capacity to mobilize a threatening military for any significant amount of time.

Losing our ability to control oil, means we relinquish this massive strategic advantage over our adversaries. It could literally allow for a complete restructuring of the global order if energy was abundant and free for all. At the time, that meant a HUGE advantage for Russia, which means they could very well become the hegemony. So we would have an incentive to prevent that shift from happening.

Also, our destructive behavior is destroying the planet and humanity. We have ongoing wars for thousands of years and we destroy Mother Earth for $ (something we created). I think species with high intelligence are disappointed with our action

If there were aliens that were deeply concerned about the fate of our planet wouldn’t they just warn us about it?
