Mellon’s continued involvement in this is cause for optimism. It’s easy to forget that the representatives and senators aren’t going at this alone. They’re no doubt getting guidance from people like Mellon behind the scenes.
Have you seen the bill? I’m really curious about the wording.. I’m hoping someone with some knowledge will look into it.. personally I have no opinion on his (Schumer) involvement other than he’s very influential politician. things are going seemingly too well for us lately I’m expecting some kind of counter from the people who are holding this info, like a bill that on the surface looks promising buts wording makes it much easier for them to circumvent disclosure, ..
EDIT: I’m watching news nation, if I heard it right there’s a clause in it that Biden can delay release if they site national security concerns? Which without doubt it is a national security concern!! I’m confused here
Biden wants to give the disclosure speech.
This more than anything else might be the driving force behind this disclosure push. If it is all a psy-op, it may just be as a mechanism to force congress to revise the classification system.
Edit: I understand that no one around here wants to hear about a psy-op, but it’s a useful exercise for anyone with an open mind to consider the counter-factuals from time to time. If someone wants to argue that the phenomenon is prosaic, they have to explain how we got here. Internal reform for a system as calcified and protected as national security classification might be impossible and require an external wrecking ball to correct. And I don’t know if you know this or not, but the CIA and it’s fellow intelligence agencies are pretty good at ginning up a crisis to foster an underlying systemic change that has nothing to with the generated crisis.
Typical of transparency bills to make things less transparent.
Possible way to overrule the UAP security classification guide that mandates everything be secret:
Finally have AARO report to the Deputy Secretary of Defense like it’s supposed to instead of reporting to Moultrie. I think the Deputy outranks whoever instituted that rule and can order it to be changed.
It’s not really about the benefit more than it’s about the very nature of our existence.
Plus the benefits of NHI craft will only be delayed further if nothing comes out.
I don’t understand what Mellon is trying to say here.
Mellon should point this out to him then, he’s probably not aware of it yet with all of the other more pressing bullshit happening in the world. Either way, having Chuck on board is huge
Push, push push!
Like the JFK assassination files?
C’mon
NOTHING WILL COME FROM THIS 😆😂
Mellon is super-diplomatic. And I think this is his way of saying: “I smell a rat.”
We are going to be drip fed until we die.
