You bring up a good point, though, and a great reason to approach this topic with clear eyes, but it isn’t the dead-end you claim it to be.
Many scientists find the specimens compelling and worth further study. Let’s hope we get it.

The bones are the largest red flag, but at this point a dozen different scientists from Peru, Mexico, Russia, and the US have all looked at the bodies or scans and concluded that they do not appear to be forgeries. There are also radiologists in r/AlienBodies saying the CT and XRay scans are convincing. There was even a new group from a university in Lima that looked at new bodies (one named Edgarda) and reached the same conclusion as the initial investigators: these are real creatures.
I don’t know what’s going on with the bones in some bodies, but other bodies do not show any misplaced bones. There’s also the question of the carbon dating (from multiple labs) that indicate it’s 1,000 years old, or the fact that no one has identified suture scars or other evidence of manipulation, and the anomalous DNA results need explanation too.
We should keep looking for more independent confirmation, but these bodies are not “obviously fake” and there are now dozens of scientists and doctors with public and verifiable pedigrees who disagree with this YouTube video that people keep passing around as if it’s definite proof of a hoax.

Yea I’m not sure what’s up with people. There’s a video from two years that completely destroys these mummies. I think they are a 1000+ year hoax and the Peruvians made them for ceremonial reasons or something similar. The bone arrangements are all wrong and there are no socket joints on the legs. One leg is longer than the other… if you look at the knees it looks like the socket joint has been sawed off. There’s a video that shows the body try to walk and it just falls over and falls apart. It’s really pathetic.

I agree with you. However, I’ve come to the conclusion the mummy Maria is most likely genuine. I think you should look into how these little ones are functioning as a distraction. It’s a little concerning because that’s how disinformation campaigns work: a whole lot of bullshit, with a shred of truth. Basically, people either believe it’s all fake, or all real, because no one has the time to sift through the information. Therefore, if we study these smaller mummies (who weren’t even taken from a Nazca tomb, but were found in Cusco) we will walk away with the conclusion it was all a hoax without a second look at Maria. And I find that deeply concerning, honestly.
So uh… if you know anyone who has worked in a mortuary where they have had car or airplane crash victims but the family wants an open casket funeral. Um…. you get creative.
These are not the same x-rays I have seen. I have never seen these before, yes, they fit the «fake» description, but are not the ones I’ve seen earlier.
