Do we imagine this is the first time in history that someone without an active clearance needs to be debriefed in a secure environ? And by that I mean, am I supposed to believe that secure debriefs are very difficult to organize and don’t have a process in place?
This is a battle, do congress have the guts for it.

Thanks for the update. I’m following this from Europe and I wish Congress the best of luck. I would like to see something significant happen and really get some movement towards disclosure. Since the uap hearing I have unfortunately again increasingly the feeling that once again nothing will happen and at some point the matter will fizzle out (as a best case scenario).
Time for a lot of Holman rule to remove those obstructing.

OK, I get it, someone without a security clearance is not allowed to *learn* classified info.
But why prevent them from *giving* *the info they already have* to people with security clearance?
If Jared Kuschner can get a clearance, why can’t they get this guy one?

The DOD and the POTUS are the gatekeepers. Nothing happens without their consent and permission. Anything Grusch is allowed to speak of has been screened, purified, and sanitized. He can only disclose what has been allowed. His hands are tied, and violations carry extreme penalties.
His security contracts or agreements are not civilian. They fall under military law, and the consequences for violating them can be fatal. If he gets permission to speak, it will be strictly controlled and regulated by the Department of Defense and the President of the United States.
So DG needs clearance so he can hear the own words out of his own mouth? Makes sense, wouldn’t want him to hear something he already knows…

Grusch knew this obstacle all along. Why do you think any details were deferred to a SCIF? because he knew it wasnt possible. Everyone bought his «testimony» hook, line and sinker. Kinda entertaining to be honest.
Doesn’t Grusch already hold a Top Secret security clearance? Wasn’t that what he claimed in the interview as well as the hearing? I’m confused
If David Grusch was so willing to indicate that he had information that he claimed would put his life in danger, wouldn’t the people he’s afraid of killed him way before now? Wouldn’t he be more safe if he just released the info he supposedly has publicly? He claims that he has all this “32 levels above Top Secret” (which doesn’t exist Btw), so isn’t he breaking the law by even mentioning it publicly? None of this adds up and I challenge anyone to explain it to me.
I think you may be confused but the holdup is getting the Congress members cleared. Grusch maintains his clearance regarding the issues he saw until they are not classified. It’s not that they don’t have a physical Scif. Luna and others are waiting on the incredibly high clearance which always takes awhile, but as is said the DOD surely may also dragging their feet in providing clearances to family members. This is why there was a snafu with them at the Air Force base with gaetz.
They are playing games I guarantee they went into JPAS and did something with his account. Start looking into that Moultrie guy. Probably using the investigation as grounds or they purposefully took removed him from who authorized his clearance.
Personally if a person is under whistleblower protection they should be able to maintain their clearance until the time the investigation closes just in case they need to access classified information.
If his clearance and access was messed with in jpas this is another proof of reprisal.

He can’t get in SCIF because he doesn’t have security clearance? So, only people with security clearance can actually be inside a SCIF? Wtf? Why? He’s the one divulging information. He shouldn’t need security clearance to divulge information.
He can’t reveal classified information, but he doesn’t have security clearance to speak about said classified information in a secure compartmented facility because he no longer works for the government whose security he is trying to protect (under NDA) and who he is a whistleblower about, to a group of government (elected) officials who may or may not have security clearance to hear what he has to say, but to whom he is to speak with under whistleblower protection, written by the people he is to speak with, but can’t.

This is a joke. Biden has full authority to declassify any doc, and push through anyone’s clearance. Why doesnt the press pressure Biden to act. This could be over in one phone call by Biden. I get the politics of it but man, if there is anything that could bump his ratings up its supporting those pushing for the truth.
