This is a good, reasonable, measured approach. Listen to the guy. Hear what he has to say. If he names names and gets specific, follow up diligently. It’s worth investigating. Much better, for example, than the comments by Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT), who stated he was skeptical because the agencies accused of lying to Congress assured him that they definitely weren’t lying to Congress.
I am, though, very curious about what he said to Matt Laslo off the record 👀
I mean if I were a politician I would probably want something solid before I started telling my voters that aliens are here.
Matt Laslo interviews Senator Martin Heinrich, a Democrat from New Mexico, who is a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, about the recent whistleblower allegations.
While Heinrich supports hearings, he had this to say about Grusch:
“I think, generally, I would look skeptically at many of these reports.”
True skepticism is important in this field. And as he says he supports hearings from the whistleblower(s), he is not close minded.

we all doubt it to some degree, but it’s imperative we listen.
They should doubt him. Everyone should doubt him. That’s part of the scientific method. Healthy skepticism leads to real outcomes.
Nice little article and I’m happy to see a (sober?) View? I can’t say I know his record but this stuff would be his backyard so knowing what’s what is perfectly understandable.
This is why it’s important to focus only on the «boring» and most hard to dodge aspects of evidence. I know a lot of people seem to hate that things aren’t going from 0 — 100, but that’s not how any of this is going to work. You need a bedrock of serious-minded investigation and hearings. The angle of the military not reporting to Congress is the best tack to take, because that is going to fairly uniformly irk all of the right people in civilian government.
How is it none of these Senators refer to the testimonies of the other whistleblowers that are supposedly first hand information, not just Grusch’s claims
Why did you say “doubts” when he says he’s skeptical
Is this Senator on any of the hearing committees that have access to the classified materials? If he doesn’t, then he should be skeptical. For those not familiar with committees in both House and Senate, members don’t discuss and are not permitted to discuss anything with colleagues who are NOT on the committee. Only until there is an open reveal can there be Capitol-wide discussion. And the stuff in closed hearings? No. They will be stripped of their committee assignments.
Citizens seem to be clueless about how our country is managed.
Yes, the more Congresspeople talking about it the better, no matter what.
He’s my senator and I’ve been fucking writing him weekly for months. His skepticism pisses me off, but at least he’s supporting hearings and co-signing amendments/bills. I just requested a sit down meeting with him 2 days ago; we’ll see if I get a response.
Hope the fuckin dems don’t start tryna make it political and be mick west tier debunkers to make the repubs look bad

Are there any outspoken Democrats on the UAP/Crash Retrieval subject? I know most of the support is bipartisan but any that speak about the subject matter? I just don’t know.
Why would he waste tax dollars on something he doesn’t believe?
I see why people would doubt that’s fine.
Skeptical but still onboard. We need more of this.
