Судя по поведению наших дорогих наблюдателей, они либо безразличны к нашим страданиям (в основном причиненным самим себе), либо являются буквально искусственно созданными биороботами, запрограммированными просто наблюдать.

Why can’t the answer be that human beings have put themselves in this position & so it’s up to human beings to get back on the right path? Honestly what are they supposed to do? They come give the Ariel kids a message about our technology & when the case is brought up nobody even talks about it.. everyone just wants to be entertained by aliens… smh they’re supposed to watch us destroy ourselves if we refuse to listen.
You all are looking for some kind of rapture or salvation from above. Why would NHI do that? It might not even be ethical.
If NHI intervened now when humanity is unable to resolve the contradictions of the technological civilization it built, humanity will never be able to resolve those contradictions on its own terms. Humanity will never grow into a mature technological civilization. Humanity will never stand on its feet if NHI intervenes now.
Why should NHI feel guilty about this? Humans are all about tough love, and the planetary catastrophe that’s about to happen will be completely of human making. All NHI has to do is park in the asteroid belt and observe. Probably all NHI *can* do is park in the asteroid belt and observe. Though personally I wish they would park a ship in LEO. Maybe if there were something to unite the masses of humanity who work for a living, they could stop their local system lords before it’s too late.
