He allegedly cried because he was told aliens created humans and religion, including Christianity, to stop us from destroying ourselves—which makes zero sense considering most wars throughout history were based on differences in ideology and religion.

  17. I’m not sure why people immediately jump to «his religion was proven wrong that’s why he was sad!!!». It could have been literally any number of things. For one thing, he has remained actively involved in the church and has seemingly kept his faith which if anything, points towards it having nothing to do with «disproving» his religion. If anything, it may actually mean he was told something that PROVED his religion, albeit was not good. Remember how Luis Elizondo said many higher-level officials believe they are demons and told him to stop investigating? Maybe they and carter learned or were told something similar. ex: «these are demons, they cause many horrible things to occur that kill millions each year, and there is nothing we can do to stop them right now.» There is also another horrifying possibility- if conspiracy theories involving secret societies of satanists that control the media and government have any truth whatsoever, what if carter was told ‘these are demons, and you are going to help us worship/support them or we are going to kill you and your family»?

    Or it could have been literally nothing related to that or religion whatsoever- we literally cannot know unless he, or his wife, or a family member, or the government reveal what he was told. Learning that there are extremely powerful and mysterious extradimensional beings that have been interacting with humanity for who knows how long could certainly be quite shocking and emotional, as would knowing that we are truly alone and every UAP\/abduction was actually just government experimentation

I read somewhere he was saddened bc he found out that the human species is a project that the “aliens” created and all religion is is something that the “aliens” seeded into humanity as part of a social experiment so to speak. And that all religions are basically made up the president was sad bc of how religious he was and so to be told it was all fake broke him .. just something read else where

  27. Idk if this is true as he never lost his faith. He taught Sunday school at his childhood church in Plains, GA up until a few years ago when his health started deteriorating and he would invite everyone to attend his church if you saw him around town.

  32. My question is this: how did the story get confirmed in the first place? Is there someplace on YouTube or otherwise where he is questioned straight up and says yes, I cried when they told me about UFOs? At least, if someone told me that Ronald Reagan had cried when he got the UFO documents before him, I would kind of believe it, only because during one UN General assembly I seem to remember him saying something like how would humanity react to an external threat or something like that.
