This is actually kind of sensationalist and its curious its being pushed so hard on reddit. They hypothesised that muons may be affected by a 5th unknown force, yet the studies conclusions actually show this is likely not the case
Honestly, I think the only reason they hid the whole UFO thing was so the US could secretly obtain new technology from studying UFOs. The coverup started during the Cold War and both the US and the USSR were making scientific progress at light speed. I’ve heard one documentary posit this idea. The documentary attributed Kevlar, night vision, and many other inventions to our government’s secret study of alien craft. Keeping the entire thing under wraps would give the US huge leverage in the world. I can’t remember the name of the documentary. It said that the government kept UFOs secret so it could sell what technology secrets it learned to private industry. It’s sad because they gaslighted everyone who saw a UFO. Someone in the documentary said that he lost his job and his partner because he was honest with those people about seeing a UFO.
So they can keep the patents and make money.

I remember a couple of years ago when there were a quite a lot of earthquakes in the ether such that the mainstream media was reporting on it that someone asked me if I thought it was a sign of the second coming. I said first of all, just because you are aware of these earthquakes doesn’t mean they are happening more often, unless you have access to a few years of data your interest alone is not evidence of an increase. Moreover earthquakes aren’t necessarily independent events. Think of them like puppies sleeping together, once starts fussing and a few of the closest ones start fussing too. Maybe that’s what’s happening. Religious beliefs asides earthquakes are like cancer, it’s happening all the time in places you don’t pay attention to so you have the luxury of not knowing that they are happening but they are happening all the time. So is scientific discovery. Most of what is being reported is likely uninteresting, will lead nowhere and is being reported incorrectly in any case. It’s not evidence of anything.

As a person who reads a lot of science journals, websites, and the like, I do not see an uptick in discoveries that can’t be explained by more sensitive equipment or upgrades to existing equipment. So, it might just be confirmation bias on either of our parts.

It’s just bias now you’re noticing it and posting it in places like this. There’s lots of science news each week. It’s not alien technology. Each of the recent stuff talked about is not a great leap forward, it’s the normal leading edge of science.
If someone comes out with an anti grav engine built and working on a free energy power cell, then that’s something else, but fermilab have been working on this for years, it’s not a new idea.
this kind of posts is the reason why we can’t have good thing and why other people call us delusional. they wouldn’t even bother visiting Earth if humans were incapable of developing technology. this is an insult to the scienctists and all the hardworking people.

I mean, we’ve been making scientific discoveries all the time since we could control fire.
What’s with this recent spate that seems to be accelerating? Well, I think a few things can come into play here.
First of all, we did just go through a pandemic. During Newton’s time, and Da Vinci’s time, and Shakespeare’s time, they went through pandemics also. They were all locked up in their homes with very little to entertain them, so they turned to science, art, or writing. We’re seeing the similar effect take place.
Another thing you’ll notice is that a lot of these have been around for quite a while. News cycle is catching up to a lot of them. That superconductor? Well, it was theorized about in the late 90s, and has been worked on since. Some other things as well.
We are also still studying data from the LHC experiment a few years ago. That produced a lot of data…so much that it will take decades to decipher it all.
Access to things like quantum computers for scientific research is also becoming more readily accessible, allowing scientists to complete calculations much quicker than they were able to in the past.
Generative AI is also very likely playing a large part in the process as well. While it may not be perfect, it’s probably still good enough to get researchers on the right path to finding answers to things they’ve been looking for.
In short, we’re just experiencing a scientific boom, which has always increased at an exponential rate.

I think we are approaching an apex with what technology may already be intertwined from aliens, to us.
Transistor is already nearly at its theoretical size limit. 6 or 7nm, they can obviously make them smaller, but dealing with resistance and interference is a huge hurdle when going smaller.
They may find a way to do it. Until the totally magic like stuff gets released to the public I’m not sure how much more advanced it can become without it
