Edit: for people who don’t know this incident,
Back in 60s he was a Minuteman nuclear missile launch officer. One day all 10 Minuteman missiles were disabled after UFOs hovering over the sites (witnessed by the personnel on the ground, Cpt. Salas himself was underground monitoring the weapons).
This case is not just «trust me bro». They have official declassified material that documented everything that happened including engineering department having thoroughly investigated the engineering aspect of 10 simultaneous shutdown of the Minuteman missiles.
The conclusion was that either the inertial guidance systems or specific electro-control modules of all 10 missiles were remotely upset by very strong EMP, all simultaneously in under 30 seconds, which they could not replicate, so they thought «the only possible cause but physically impossible».
The missiles were underground 40 feet concrete and distanced one another about several hundreds feet. Truly fking mysterious.

Robert Salas has been saying the same thing for decades. His testimony is well known. Do we expect anything new from him, or is the same old (but fascinating) story?
What is AARO’s *precise working definition of* ***evidence***, as regards:
1. Evaluating what it discovers in carrying out it’s mission
2. Making such official statements as «no credible evidence»?
In US jurisprudence, testimony is evidence. It refers to the oral or written statements made by witnesses under oath during a legal proceeding. It plays a crucial role in fact-finding, and is used to establish facts, present information, and support arguments.
Specifically, there is lay testimony and expert testimony, and I daresay we have an expert witness in Capt. Salas.
Again: *what even is* AARO’s definition of «evidence»?
Ugh, so tiresome. More BOMBSHELL REPORTING, UNDENIABLE EVIDENCE, and 1ST PERSON UFO TESTIMONY. This clickbait world we live in really gets me down sometimes.
I’m new to this sub and this topic, but is there a back story as to why there was a lack of interference with the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima?
I grew up in Montana near the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom AFB. I was friends with several kids who had a parent who worked at the base. One parent worked site security for the silos. Operating procedure was to do walk arounds the silo sites. To physically get out of the vehicle and walk around.
There was a party at my friends house and we overheard a quiet conversation by several service members that many times when the security detail would call in during these security checks the engines and the radios of the trucks could be heard very clearly over the radio. The parent went on to to say, in round general terms, that the security details really really didn’t like getting out of their vehicles. Coupled to this were stories of possible strange flying craft.
The parent found out we heard all this and made it quite clear we were to keep our fucking mouths shut. This was over 40 years ago.
Something was rattling those security personal enough to disregard orders, which obviously is a big deal.
Just for correction, he was a Captain when it occurred, but I’m pretty certain he achieved the rank of Colonel, maybe Lieutenant Colonel.
I’m just a stickler for respecting and recognizing military ranks, as it can be hard to work your way to a level that high.
Salas has said that he has evidence to prove it…I have yet to see said evidence other than his testimony that it happened.
That doesn’t mean that I don’t believe him, but I can’t understand why no other members of his flight during the time have corroborated his account or provided additional evidence/details of the event from their perspective.
I listened to it. The recording is interesting. It shows that AARO is somewhat disappointed with the lack of cooperation they are receiving from the Air Force. Hardly surprising and definitely not a BOMBSHELL!
The amount of people thumbing their nose at this is astonishing. To think that you already know everything he has to say is a strong combination of arrogance & ignorance.
The information is not *for you* as individuals. There are countless people who may not have heard his story.
Then going beyond the information he shares, this could potentially give us a glimpse into AARO’s process & how seriously they take it.

Ugh…I hate to say ‘so what?’ but really… Salas has made his views/opinions/memories known on ***many*** occasions in books and in interviews.
I fail to see what difference it makes if he tells his tales to Kirkpatrick or not.
This whole subject has been co-opted by click bait merchants.
We’ve already heard everything he has to say on the events. This is hype for a podcast and nothing more.
What does Capt. Salas make of the seeming disconnect between AARO and:
1. Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, who is supposed to be actively overseeing AARO but so far as we know is not doing so? … and …
2. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, who to Sen. Gillibrand’s perceptible annoyance indicated that AARO had been funded at a level presumably far lower than the Congressional funding request?
Does Capt. Salas think the levels of non-engagement by these two public servants, Austin and Hicks, indicates a desire either to:
1. Undermine AARO, or;
2. Preserve a cock-and-bull «plausible deniability» pretext whereby they will claim «they didn’t get briefed,» «had no idea,» etc.?

Before I watch, I wonder if “The Good Trouble Show” asked about this?
Nuclear weapons are bad, most of us get it. But not the people who build them.
