My wife and I had a UAP sighting in 2010 and it looked as though it was using a type of cloaking best described as a heat wave signature. The UFO would go in and out of view with what looked like a heat wave you would see on a hot summer’s day on a long stretch of freeway. We were with another couple who witnessed the heatwave up several hundred feet in the air but never saw the object as it would be visible in one spot followed by the heatwave cloaking and shifting into a new location. Needless to say, I have yet to explain this instance as anything less than a UAP.
A sufficiently advanced intelligence might have figured out quantum entanglement on a macro scale that we can’t even fathom yet. Trillions of atoms at once.
Given the fact that we already, with our limited technology, have devised basic ‘invisibility cloaks’, it might not be all that difficult to achieve. The more interesting question is then why they choose to be visible if they have the option to be invisible.

I don’t see how the paper you cited explains your ufo observation.
The paper, at least from the excerpt you provided, seems to indicate that there’s a frequency of light that will pass through solid matter, but the researchers didn’t cause that to happen they simply observed a natural phenomenon.
Or maybe I’m just misunderstanding what you’re saying about the connection between the two.
I thought lots of people see these things all over the place. Many sighting all over the world. That’s what people are telling me.
We’ve had “invisibility” ever since the invention of glass. There’s an “invisibility cloak” news piece almost every month (I feel that if it weren’t for Harry Potter, this wouldn’t be a hot area of journalism). The interesting part is the authors don’t know why this happens, so perhaps it will lead to new discoveries. But this has about as much to do with UFOs as anything else.
As for why the gov is interested in this kind of research, they’re always looking to improve stealth and better understand light. Science marches on.

There is an old recording of the Philadelphia experiment conference in which several physicists that were involved to some degree explain the physics behind the experiment. The said something about not fully switching to another dimension will make you invisible in this one. It’s sounds totally crazy, but the physicists in the conference looked like they understood what was being said. It’s free on Tubi TV.
Uh… Most materials are transparent to wide ranges of electromagnetic radiation.
For example, glass is practically invisible to visible light. Metals, wood etc let radio waves pass through. Your flesh lets X-Rays pass through but your bones don’t.
This discovery isn’t groundbreaking neither does it explain how UFOs cloak.
Everyone knows what vibrating atoms are right? How is this any different than just heat? This is like saying that water becomes invisible at 87°C and then reappears at 88°C..
We can already achieve invisibility a different way using metamaterials. Lockheed likely already has. Though the method in your post would likely be more effective once the materials science behind achieving a macroscopic quantum state is figured out.

In that case, if you can be invisible, for what become visible? What should vibrate, the whole apparatus and everything in it, even living beings? And should a laser beam always fall on this place?
It could be as easy as fiber optics or ink like that’s in moodrings, where the background scenery appears on the side of the craft facing the viewer.
They use hiGh voltaGe electricity to bend liGht waves and act as lenticular lens(think old holoGraphic cards).
Hal Puthoff company is currently outfittinG some tanks with this technoloGy that makes it invisible to eyes and radar.
I have witnessed this tech first hand in my backyard on a TR3B and u could see the hull kind of charGe up it didn’t just disappear it went like the predator active cloakinG where I could still see it a little and then it disappeared.

You should read the DIRD paper [Metamaterials for Advanced Aerospace Applications](https://documents2.theblackvault.com/documents/dird/metamaterials-applications.pdf) by Professor Gennady Shvets, which discusses Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT) where lightwaves are manipulated by tiny microcontrollers covering the outside of a craft to make them appear transparent (pages 18 and 19). At the time of its writing (2010), the smallest microcontrollers available were the KL-11 model produced by Freescale Semiconductor in its Malaysian fab plant in Kuala Lumpur.

My table fan has invisibility also.
Metamaterials. We have already developed layers of materials with a particular structure that will cause a range of em waves to pass through. However, usually its a small range.
So a UAP with a metamaterial skin is probably either going to be optically invisible or radar invisible but not both at once.

I’ve seen a ship «flicker» into visibility. It was massive, almost a mile long, and it looked like a shimmer almost, like a mirage, and only part of it appeared. This was the same UFO(s) I saw which were followed immediately by three huge, black, military helicopters.
I took a photo on moving train window once and was surprised to see a person on it. My eye did not register a person getting caught on camera photo but camera was faster.
A magician can change object placement faster than eye can follow.
Conclusion: human eye is very easy to fool

Hmm. Does this make use of the notion that atoms are mostly empty space?
For this, I’m reminded of the Bob Lazar story about getting into a UFO and noticing that while inside, there was a portion of the interior that was completely transparent to the outside of the craft. It wasn’t a window. Just a portion of the interior that was transparent, and could apparently be made to become opaque again.
