Crazy that the first 29 comments have nothing to do with the post. Just shit kicking about posters, up voting down voting, government conspiracies, lame jokes and sarcasm. I really dont like to make jumps just based off others behavior buuuut….the amount of posts that had potential UAP pics matched with loud anti UAP comments are starting to make me think the louder the comments the higher the likeness it is genuine. This is outside ones that are obvious prosaic answers that I can easily tell is just misidentifications. But there are some big ones similiar to this that a brigade blasts the commentary that seem their only aim is muddy the waters so much to keep people confused. I’ve even started documenting those redditors and the style of synched commentary style that seems to be a coordinated effort. I wish we lived in a world where conspiracies were just kangaroo lizard koala aliens….but we have so many solid evidence of our governments using that example to allow cover for their real conspiratorial campaigns

I keep being amazed at how perspective alters perception: the photo from the USS Trepang I had pegged as a triangle, with one of its 3 straight sides directly facing the camera, at an altitude that is slightly above the camera, with the associated pointed end appearing centred.
But now…it’s a cigar with a bottom-centre protrusion?
This is awesome. At 12sec from video 1 it slightly does the gimble tilt in the direction it’s moving. Good video! And this is coming form someone who has stated doubts on numerous lazy video postings in this subreddit. Now to see if anyone can tell if it’s cgi or not, but I’m sure we need the raw video file if it exists.
A change of direction and moving against the wind… not to mention that it’s rather large too
I looked for images of naval gunnery balloons from 1971, and they seemed much smaller than these objects.

I stumbled upon this on twitter, found it interesting. Based on the shape, it looks a lot like the trepang case, even from the side.

The image on the left seems to be the Fata Morgana effect. When looking at objects in water from far away, they can seem like they are floating. I’m not sold.

I hate to be this guy, but those are likely navy targeting balloons. Google HMS Canning balloon, and check out both the kite balloons and the cigar-shapes ones.
That sub was involved in military exercises with other ships and subs when these photos were taken. Some of the balloons may have been launched from underwater, which would explain the spray.
Also to my knowledge, UAPs would tend to not disrupt the water surface, at least from what is typically observed.

They’re actually not similar at all.
The one on the left is actually a triangle and there are 5 or 6 different pictures of it doing maneuvers over the ocean. It the other photos it’s obviously not cigar shaped in any way and it’s 100% a triangle. The one on the right is just a cigar shaped cylinder. They do not have any similarities other than they’re in the air. Stop pushing false narratives. It just takes from the real truths.
Bottom of the left picture looks like bushes and rocks. Sure it’s a pic taken from a ship ?

There is nothing to see here. This a mirage. The same effect that happens over a road from a long distance on a hot day. I have seen boats appear to float over water on a hot summers day viewed from a telescope or a pair of binoculars.

You are looking at a some dudes jockstrap on a blue background and distorted/stretched in the x axis.
So it goes through a whisp of a cloud and completely disappears and then warpspeeds to the other end of the cloud in a different shape?

It’s nothing like the USS Trepang photos. As the shape of the Schwerin is different as there’s what appears to be a bulge at the top of the Left edge, the upwards pixel. While the Trepang photo shows a slightly curved shape.
The only thing that they have in common is the relative length, but we don’t know the range is from the viewer. Trepang does. So they could estimate its size. Why? The grids on the periscope.
Don’t underestimate the propaganda influence of big actors trying to muddy the water of evidence with uploading things like this.
