Thanks to u-memystic from Reddit we have a response from the paleontologist currently studying the Peruvian Mummies — "Alien Bodies"

I did not realize there were so many
It’s looking more and more like these things may have truly been living beings at one point in time. The crazy part is how we have so many bodies to study and figure out which aspects are shared and which are unique to the individual body. Keep a close eye on this one.
If we had Extraterrestrials or Trans-Dimensional Beings as Prisoners who are much more advanced than humans, Don’t you think their Comrades would have rescued them long ago?
Sorry if this is a stupid question but why not just extract the DNA from one of the mummies and clone it from the DNA to get a live specimen. Should be obvious from said biological specimen, even the DNA structure alone, if these are aliens or human (homo sapien or otherwise).
Is the issue here that the mummification process ruins the DNA? I find that hard to believe because scientists can extract DNA from bone marrow no? So if there’s soft tissue extracting DNA should be easy mode?
I’m no expert in anything here just asking.
