It’s interesting how the news article from 1890 doesn’t sensationalize it at all and just reported what happened.
Maybe they are swimming in air?
Whenever it says «Congressman» I get my hopes up it is someone other than Tim, it’s *always* Tim.
It states in the article that the pilot was buried. I wonder if records can be found of such burial, the where. This may be an avenue that the government has yet to clean up
> A Tennessee congressman investigating UFOs claims the crafts appear to ‘defy physics as we know it.’
>Republican Tim Burchett believes there is no question the objects in the skies are not of this Earth and have abilities to fly underwater and never leave behind heat trails.
>Burchett — who is on the House Oversight Committee overseeing UFO hearings — has been shown classified footage not yet released to the public.
>The congressman told the Event Horizon podcast this week that ‘we’ve been dealing [with government coverups] since 1947, probably since about 1897 in what was the Aurora Texas ‘UFO crash.’
That 1897 date immediately caught my eye. I grew up in a very rural area of central Pennsylvania known as «The Black Forest» that is known for all sorts of bizarre encounters. I just happened to be googling «[place I grew up] UFO sightings» yesterday, and I came across a story where a local historian mentioned that our area had UFO sightings «Dating all the way back to 1897, when several people reported a cigar-shaped craft flying in the sky.»
Maybe 1897 was a visitation year?
I think the fact they can “fly” underwater, and also leave no heat trail/condensation trail, indicates they aren’t interacting with our dimension in the same way we do. They seem to be able to operate “shifted” between our dimension and something else, maybe something outside our physical dimension but inside our space time.
I doubt his knowledge of physics.
Burchett and the Daily Mail? Sometimes I feel like we’ll never be taken seriously by the wider public.
“Says”
How about we shut the fuck up until we can actually show something?
If in my job I constantly just “talked” about stuff and results, and never actually *show* things, I would be homeless by now.
Talk is talk. Stop giving attention until we get SOME form of evidence.
If you really think about it just the government admitting there’s something else here would open up an absolutely gigantic can of worms. I can hardly imagine all the things we’ve been kept in the dark about.
Perhaps humanity’s understanding of physics could be wrong altogether. We could think we understand it but in reality our percentage of what we know equates to 1 percent of what actually is
I have found the USO side of things even more interesting than UFOs.
It’s always the same few people. I’m not saying that doesn’t mean anything, but it doesn’t seem like much convincing is going on.
For what it’s worth:
During the big UFO flap of 1972-73 my elderly uncle told me that as children, he, my father, and aunt “watched them [UFOs] flying around at night.”
This would have been around the time of WWI or a few years earlier in farm country, Nowhere, Nebraska. Yes, airplanes existed then, but he was not talking about airplanes. Biplanes would have been rare in that region and my uncle would have surely known the difference. He simply accepted UFOs from the early Twentieth Century as real whatever they were.
My father and mother, born 1906 and 1910, both remembered the first automobiles they ever saw.
We need more whistleblowers
It doesn’t “fly”
Think about it…the object isn’t using aero to create lift. It’s using technology that displaces it and makes it as if it isn’t there. No wonder it can “fly” under water. It’s using gravity to propel itself and displace air/water and god knows what else, for all we know maybe even time itself
I think this is the closest we’ve come to an actual disclosure my entire life.
Holy shit.
well they are not really «flying» are they? they are using gravity to repel air particles….a kind of «bubble» effect … no reason why that wouldn’t also work with water particles.
Ok, we really need a Congressman to do a Snowden and reveal classified documents, or this will drag itself forever…
A real congressman or one of the really dumb ones who got there by appealing to even dumber people?
Yup, that’s what I thought.
Let me guess, another grifter/election denying republican? Yuppppp
Edit: thank you for the reddit cares message 🙂 I’ll be sure to report it for abuse of the resource, which is an account bannable offense.
It’s oceanic swamp gas
Technically, anything swimming or steering in any way underwater is flying right? Like aren’t the fluid dynamics the same or similar enough between liquids and gases?
Just drop the bombshell and usher in world peace already.
Can I just say this your Reddit sub is not going unnoticed. There are a few of us that have been here a while with the intent of minimal influence wink wink, but tone down the hype. Pretenders like the guy who thinks he learnt guitar by warping into another dimension on the Tredifier podcast are actually a distraction.
You don’t teach algebra to three year Olds but you do take matches out of their hands.
I am noone.
And that’s goid
How we are supposed to act now that we have congress officials chiming in, saying UAP’s and their abilities are legitimate? What’s the next step? Are we supposed to be pist, tearing up the neighborhoods, happy or sad, may be confused or all the above.
I heard from a navy guy that they’d see lights from ufos following their ships underwater.
So random that I was literally just telling a friend about the Aurora crash and how they buried an alien what is it when you coincidentally talk about something and then it happens
If the UFOs defy physics as we know them, then we don’t know physics very well. People will reject this and attack and say it is not possible because «physics». Rather than treating this as a learning opportunity to conjecture on how it could be possible. Basically scarcity vs abundance mindset. Cup half empty vs cup half full.

If you don’t know the propulsion method, how can you say it defies physics as we know it?
Also I wouldn’t trust a congresscritter to know shit about physics.
To be fair humans also have the technology to turn humans into “charcoal briquettes.”
My favorite part of this podcast is when he says “it’s not a partisan issue. I don’t care”. How wonderful would it be if this issue served to even partially unify the left and right within the US as well as countries around the world which are usually adversaries.
I’m always entertained by the people’s thoughts on UAPs going underwater. They seem surprised. If an alien civilization has the ability to travel to a planet compromised 2/3 ocean, from so far away, they’re obviously capable of (and prepared for) going underwater. Not to mention, it’s the best place to conceal themselves.
I don’t think it’s flying once you’re under water.
Because if one person you should trust with a physics problem is a congressman who doesn’t know how WIFI works.
The daily mail .. not exactly a trusted source.
