This behavior and congress impatience far more important than next weeks hearing
It doesn’t surprise me that the Airforce is hiding stuff and stonewalling. I don’t know if many people know this but some high up Officer from the Navy went to the White House and told Biden that the Airforce was deliberately hiding stuff and lying about UAP’S.

Not just the words, but how she said them and *where* she said them. The fact that she’s more or less announcing the fact that they were prevented from seeing this information is incredible.
This should be made clear to people that the military is actively blocking access. I think this gets glossed over and Kirby never addresses that part of the investigation
All this is good for disclosure. Congress will continue to get more and more riled up , the hearings will bring much needed media attention , something has to give.

the antagonism of the USAF to UFO, all things UFO, UFO witnesses in general and UFO witnesses who report encounters through formal channels in particular is well known.
the USAF conspired with the CIA to launch UFO stigma and crank up the disinformation soft serve coming out of BLUE BOOK.
if you are unaware of why this may be, there is the USAF’s vexed history as the lead DoD service dealing with the issue (with the US Navy in a dissenting and «troublemaking» role) and the fact that the USAF prides itself on being the most christian service in the US military.

I’m not that excited about the witnesses since the public has heard from mainly two of them already, but the stonewalling that congress is experiencing from both the military and the pentagon is very telling.

Submission statement: Rep Luna claims she and other house representatives were blocked from gaining access to UAP information by the airforce. It appears the airforce is trying to cover something up.
Just adding my 2 cents, former AF, worked in a SCIF for most of my time in (nothing related to UAPs). It didn’t matter who you were. If you didn’t have the clearance and the authorization to access a specific facility, you are not allowed entry.
We would be briefed that rank did not matter, elected status did not matter. Ultimate classification authority is the US President in most cases. He’s also the commander in chief of the military. If congress can’t get access to areas they need to investigate, I can point out someone that can make that happen (POTUS).
Cut their funding, and impeach the officials. That is the power of Congress. Bone up and do your damned job, Congress.
The House controls the spending, so threaten to defund anyone that doesn’t comply with oversight.
So one thing you’re not supposed to do is irritate Congress. Now they’re specifically calling you out and they won’t let it go. And not just anyone in Congress either, but Republicans who already have a massive distrust of their own government. You fucked up A-aron.

Crazy, I never thought I would see this stuff.
…I’m sure I’ll get a lot of, «no shit, Sherlock,» but it’s starting to feel like literally everything seems to be controlled by the Pentagon. All of congress can ask them for whatever, and they can simply say, «lol no.» And that’s it. If they want to get fancy with the «no» they can throw in, «its for national security.»
What’s the point of electing anyone? (I know for issues that are irrelevance to the Pentagon, but in this situation, that is for all the people, means nothing.)
I’ve never followed politics or how any of it inner works, and this kind of cements why. It literally doesn’t matter what we do or want. Doesn’t matter who’s elected, the Pentagon seems to get the say. I know there’s more to it, but it’s making me concerned for next week.
