Tom is like a very well intentioned child. he’s curious, he means well, heart in the right place and all that… and also incredibly naive. My personal approach to Tom’s info is to just take it all in, note it accordingly, and put it aside until other corroborating evidence comes forward. He loves to talk about how he can’t be fooled on this topic. Oof. Really, Tom? Impossible to fool you eh?

What is a «negative emotion»? I don’t understand that concept. I think that’s a giant red flag. Does he mean an emotion that feels uncomfortable? Because unpleasant emotions often lead to positive outcomes.
This reads like it is the opinions of a child who’s emotional intelligence is seriously delayed. Imagine saying «we have to feel more positive emotions»

A psychopath feels very strong positive emotions when killing someone.

A good person doing good deeds feels driven to do so because nothing ever feels good enough and that is so agonising they strive for more and more.

Shame is an evolutionary stat that alerts us to imminent danger of being abandoned and needing to take action to make things right with our community so we can survive. Surviving feels good.

Wow. Long read but great. I agree with a lot but disagree with some as well. The biggest thing i dont agree with is their malevolence. I forgot who said it but i think decades ago a man said that the nwo would try and trick us into a one world government many times. Their last resort would be aliens, them being bad so we must be one. Then boom we give up our freedoms and we’re fucked. What he says smells like a nwo trap imo. I read it and it is fascinatingly religious ngl. Here’s what Tom Delonge says «<<I am 3 trillion percent sure that there is a god. I will stake my life on it.>> But it’s not a person. It’s a beautiful love consciousness that’s in the center of a galaxy, that explodes out and creates stars and planets. All the beings that are created have a radio signal back to the source.» (T.D. Phenomenon Notes, page 3)
And there’s also this «He suggests we should be mature about it. We’re in a very pivotal time in our evolution and we’re going to be dealing with some things that we always thought were magic, fairy tales or mythology. We’re going to have to find a way to accept that stuff, and humanity will explode to a new place that’s going to be wonderful. But we have to go about it the right way.» (T.D. Phenomenon Notes, page 2) Which sounds a little like revelation and/or spiritual epiphany.
Just to expand a little on the religious and spiritual aspect:
Firstly we got this great message which sounds a little bit similar from Heaven’s Gate press release on the Internet, which was a UFO related religious cult, entitled “Heaven’s Gate ‘Away Team’ Returns to Level Above Human in Distant Space” and dated March 22, 1997.
«By the time you receive this, we’ll be gone—several dozen of us. We came from the Level Above Human in distant space and we have now exited the bodies that we were wearing for our earthly task, to return to the world from whence we came- task completed. . . . We came for the purpose of offering a doorway to the Kingdom of God at the end of this civilization, the end of this age, the end of this millen[n]ium. . . . The task was not only to bring in information about that Evolutionary Kingdom Level Above Human, but to give us the experience of working against the forces of what the human evolutionary level, at this time, has become. Sounds very similar. Both sets of beliefs have a tinge of spirituality and a revelation narrative. Also gotta be said, I’m not refuting the existence of aliens, but some aspects of this topic are definitely tinged with spirituality and religion. Neat little thing humans do, religion I mean and well human gonna human.

Who is u/kiwibonga and why do we care about what he thinks of tom delonge? This is like that other guy claiming he met up with him in mexico and some obscure line was crossed and so he’s gonna expose him. “He says…” “He talks….” This is not admissible in discussions.
