My daughter introduced me to Steven Universe. Such a great show. I mentioned on another post that I notice currently, shows are introducing kids to the idea of multiple dimensions or alternate universes. Marvel, obviously, Stranger Things, Rick and Morty, Phenius and Ferb. Totally forgot about Steven Universe!
Never seen this one but I am a fan of the slow role disclosure idea. Keep feeding media ideas and tropes of the general idea till the concepts feel mundane and accepted. The difference between a full shock and realizing ideas you’ve been exposed to your whole life are true and not fiction. I don’t think any of it is spot on but more general concept.
Heh that’s very true. That’s a great observation of the show.
Short answer? No
Long answer? Definite no; you’re assuming a very specific type of alien, a very specific plan, a very specific goal, a very specific level of technology, and an obtusely obscure way of disclosing it.
The chance of any one of those being the true case is incredibly slim. The chance of all being right is immeasurably close to zero
