I think its always interesting to note right after he mentioned aliens that the reason the FBI and CIA didnt work together to stop 9/11 is because they both wanted to be the one to save the day essentially. Snowden used the word «stovepipping» which refers to over-compartmentalization within an organization that limits its effectiveness. He says people werent willing to work together and they didnt realize how big a disaster they faced.
Maybe thats why Marco Rubio (R) and Kristin Gillibrand (D) are setting the stage for a bipartisan effort on the disclosure of government UAP knowledge/programs. This is sort of the movie “scientist effect”. A scientist in the movie is 29 years old and is an accomplished astrophysicist, structural and electrical engineer, and expert on alien biology despite this being first contact. All because they are “the scientist”. Just because he was an Intelligence person doesn’t mean he had access to all the various programs. Some programs would just be off limit. unless you were invited into the program for The Development of the Mars Low Gravity Toilet Seat, you would never have the access to learn it was the program for the development of carbon dioxide fueled engines (obviously making up the program and it’s secret intent).
