Ok that’s great to hear that the Inspector General finds his testimony both **credible and urgent** but “PulsatingCucumber623” doesn’t buy it because no classified info was released to the public during this interview. So therefore it’s all BS; let’s listen to a handful of random skeptics on reddit instead

I’m sure i’ll be downvoted to infinity but I still feel like this is a step forward. Jaw dropping new info was not released to the public which is disappointing but decades worth of information was confirmed and disclosed to more individuals *within* the government more than ever.
Instead of “opening a can of worms”, he handed the government and congress the closed can of worms and he provided them with a can opener. Neither were available to them at this level before. From my understanding, it is in congress’ hands now. Hopefully they don’t just stick the can in a cabinet somewhere and hope everyone forgets about it
Anyone that tries to tell you that this isn’t a big deal or some kind of grift because the interview is surface level does not understand how whistleblower procedures work.
There will likely be both open and closed hearings where lawmakers learn more. There will be investigations in turn into the agencies and programs that purposely and illegally withheld information from oversight.
I was on the fence and skeptical but then remember like months ago when the weird balloons incident happened. One of them was obviously a Chinese spy balloon. But whole thing was odd because one of the congressman reacted very spooked and intense on camera saying to the press “the American public deserves to know”. Now with this whistleblower story coming out he apparently gave evidence and an 11 hr statement to congress. So I think whatever he showed them must be why the congressman had such an intense reaction. Does anyone have the clip of what I’m talking about? I’m trying to find it.
I watched the interview and find it fascinating. However, I would like to see/hear a statement from this “IG” confirming the importance of these allegations before drawing anymore conclusions. Need more info to see how this all plays out.
Comment section here is way too one sided for this subject. Influence is an effective weapon.
Reddit is full of experts on how whistleblower laws/complaints are handled. I should have known.
That «urgent and credible» assessment could simply relate to his *reprisal* claims and not the underlying claims of an NHI cover-up. Big difference.
Submission Statement: During the interview with David Grusch it is brought up that his allegations have been found «urgent and credible» by the inspector general of the intelligence community. Although many know this I thought it was important to post this.
