Before any of this, I think the government suspected he had leaker inclinations and fed him misinformation about UFOs. Considering he has never personally witnessed any crafts or bodies but rather just secondhand anecdotes, I think it’s likely he was bamboozled by counterintelligence agents to sway him from actual sensitive information.

You literally own a “share” of whatever company you invest in. That’s what it is. Unless the company has different protocols for what share class allows voting rights, you do get a say and are a percentage of the owners that get to make a decision. It’s always majority rules. So, you might own 0.000000001% of Disney, but, you get no voice. The institutional investors can collectively call the shots. Every company is different, but if black rock is majority share holder they largely do control the company and get the say in the decisions. For Boeing specifically, blackrock only owns about 5%. Vanguard group is about 8%. Public ownership is around 45%.
