  1. I honestly think stuff like this happens naturally.

I think they have way more control over news type of media than what movies Wes Anderson wants to make. The government itself gave us the Pentagon video. They said yes, UAPs are real. The government has been holding hearings about them and telling us. What they are willing to let be public goes into the news by default. The news starts normalizing UAPs and they’re probably even told to, like «this will get bigger over the next few years» or something, like the cats out of the bag.

It becomes a much more public conversation as a result. People are like wtf, UAPs are UFOs and the government says they’re real? People obviously become intrigued. Saying they’re real has way less stigma, because the news is making it sound serious and real, because the government is showing they treat it seriously.

The military is more public about the «balloons» potentially being special. People are even more wtf.

Directors watch the news too. They keep hearing about UAPs. They’re interested as much as anyone else. They come up with ideas, like that Nope movie. Aliens have been in Hollywood for a long, long time.

People in Hollywood talk about Nope… Other directors and movie writers start thinking about aliens more. It ends up in a script more often than it used to… They end up liking one and Wes Anderson wants to do it.

Then more directors will see alien movies are more popular. You’ll see more I bet, and not because some direct government control. Ideas just spread and are inspired by real life. And in recent years, aliens have been more a part of real life.

  2. Funny story:

When my mama was in her early 20s she dated a dude who was a *tad* out there. Dude grew his own hydroponic weed and mushrooms, camped like a caveman, and by God, he was convinced Aliens were here.

    It didn’t stop there though.

Man was convinced that there was indeed an effort to get the masses comfy with the idea of ET/human interaction and even their residency on Earth. How was this being done? Media.

It was the early 90s and MIB was incredibly popular and Star Trek: The Next Generation was just as popular, so naturally a stoned brain would draw such conclusions from these patterns. But then there’s our Generation.

We grew up with Ben10, Lilo and Stitch movies and series, and The Avengers has been THE highest grossing movies in the world for a few years now. All of which have alien baddies and alien homies.

The man definitely had a fondness for some giggle bush and boomers, and I’m not gonna sit here and tell yall that this is indeed a grand conspiracy to wake people up, but it’s not totally unheard of for this sort of idea to gain some traction.

  3. The movement has momentum. Too much inertia to stop the questions. They’ll slowly divulge just enough to shut us up. When attention wanes, they’ll stop again. They’ll divulge only what they need to.
