  1. This looks like a reflection of something in the window. The movement of the camera and the movement of the reflection move in unison together. At first glance it does seem to look mysterious but this is simply a reflection in the glass

  2. 100% reflection of the infrared from your camera autofocus sensor. I’ve seen this many times now. You can easily test it yourself by filming behind a window inside your house when it’s dark outside but light inside.

  3. Might be a flare, or maybe light from a distant ship? the thing that gets me is the odd movement of the lights. I can also notice the lights appear to be in one dot at first, then it looks like it gets divided.

  4. It could well be a boat or a light artifact from the device of some kind.

Only thing that makes me think otherwise is the Atlantic is a hotspot for similar lights like this. All the way up to FL NC and Canada. There’s probably something out there in the ocean or below the sea bed.

  5. IR reflection. It’s always easier to tell it’s that by watching it at accelerated speeds. Either forwards or backwards. Hotel buildings with waterfront adjacent, weather exposed window configurations often opt for laminated safety additions. These lower their potential for insurance liability as they pertain to water damage following a breached window. The laminate acts to waterproof the impacted window despite its loss of integrity. Unfortunately it also can play tricks on depth perception and even cause angled light deformation or bluish, circular reflections in the infrared spectrum due to its tint registering nearly dead center of the visual spectrum (green).

  6. I’m gonna say 10000% fake on this one. The camera seems completely uninterested in the object appearing in the window. It’s either some lens flare that person found out about after the fact, or the effect was artificially added with video editing. That person is clearly filming the rain storm and nothing else.
