1-5 are fairly unremarkable. A couple could be said to be planes, and I wouldn’t argue. Then you get to #6 annndd… what the fuck is that? If the others at night were different nights, I’d say it’s time for him to get a better camera or even a damn zoom thing for his phone camera and catch some earth-shattering images! Less than $100 on Amazon and he’s got some news worthy videos! Or it’s nothing, it could also be nothing.
Almost everything they’ve captured looks like human stuff. Everything except the coloured single light, which is Sirius.

That page gives a whole heap of info about what to expect to see when you go out observing the night sky. So much of it is man made stuff reflecting the sun back at earth after sunset. Star Walk 2 app AR mode is really helpful, it puts labels on everything you’re seeing. Like Sirius, or the ISS, and loads of satellites or star link missions.
It’s cool that they’re capturing all this stuff, but from my past experiences, I know that sinking feeling you get when you research it all, and realise that everything you’re seeing is either something that’s been in the night sky every night for your entire life, or something that’s been launched by us.
If they film something that changes course, that’s when they’ll know they’ve got something. That’s what I’m always looking for.

My friend who lives in Thompson PA has seen things in the sky that they cannot explain. I uploaded a video to this sub that they captured late last year and I wasn’t impressed, honestly I thought it was a plane / satellite. Now I don’t know what to think.
In this video they are facing west and living on a property that resides in Thompson PA. This was seen on May 13th, 2022 at 8:59PM.

Is this stabilized or something? The parallax at the end is the exact opposite of what is should appear as. The sky shouldn’t be moving. The trees should.

the video attached to this post looks just like the ISS and there was a pass on the date you quoted, but the time is exactly 1hr out — May 13 2022 at 8.59pm. can you double check the time?
