I believe in the zoo hypothesis. We are here to be studied and examined at their discretion. This is why we occasionally see their craft but I don’t think they’re coming from way out in space but rather are, and always have been, here on this planet with us. Or at the very least, somewhere based in our system.
Pretty sure it mostly boils down to language & technology barriers. There’s 7,117 languages just on earth, do you really think we’d be able to know & recognize a message from another planet? & if there’s any attempt at contact, these life forms are extremely advanced, so there’s no telling what their technology is like. I see it as trying to play a song through Bluetooth on a record player & not understanding why there’s no sound

Just ask yourself if it’s the norm in the universe for intelligent life to have the inherent ability to communicate telepathically, why would any of them have any use for communication via radio waves? Start to think of us as not being intelligent life and things as they relate to aliens make a lot more sense.

I think you mean hypothesis? Unless they have made disprovable predictions ?
I would say we are not looking for or sending the right kind of communications? It would be true if other entities were using radio waves too we may never receive them or them ours, If in fact we are being visited by extraterrestrial life forms as per all the sightings suggest, then they are in fact using a FTL method of travel, and that also means a FTL or instantaneous form of communication, which we don’t understand nor will we possibly for many centuries!
Nothing has ever been proven to be aliens.
They haven’t asked us to join the club because if we had their technology now we’d kill ourselves if not them. You don’t give a kid a flamethrower.
Distances are too far y’all, too far. If there were aliens who could make it to us it would be obvious they’d be all over the galaxy. I’m sure there are some small life forms in our galaxy and even some monkeys. But there ain’t no one with the ability to contact us.
They don’t talk to us because they don’t have a reason to I think. And because we wouldn’t understand each other if they did. They just cruise through every now and then and probably gather some resources and go back home. My boyfriend said he thinks a lot of UFO’s we see are probably the teenage aliens just going out joy riding in the universe, checking out different planets, and others are probably unmanned just scoping the place out. Some probably use earth as a gas station and just dip in and get what they want or need.

Who F cares what the «scientists» saying? I know what the hell I saw and experienced and those guys was not any guys from «our» official civilization, that’s for sure.
I think the scientist and his excuse-laden theories, are wrong.
There is no reason to suppose that contacting Humanity has anything to do with any particular alien race’s plans or desires. And, just because we are technologically capable of seeing, detecting, and tracking their craft, doesn’t seem to mean a thing to them.
Thus, whatever «they» do is probably NOT contingent on anything that has happened … *or will happen* … during the course of our existence.
Given how it is realistic and reasonable to suppose that many different kinds of other-worldly beings have vast capabilities that are beyond our own, and how many times they will be asked about why they have not assisted Humanity, or eliminated deadly diseases, or prevented our wars, it would be wise to assume that it is the aliens *themselves* who don’t want any part of contact, or any degree of involvement with regard to what will be Humanity’s inevitable pleas for help.
There are many in the scientific community who don’t seem to realize that there do not appear to be any other-worldly beings that owe us any favors, formal introductions … or, anything else at all for that matter.
Perhaps then, since Humanity seems to be leading the charge with regard to contact, it would be more prudent for mainstream science to assume that Aliens simply do not have a wish to share in this endeavor.

In 1978 i saw in day time solid blue sky a silver flying saucer as plain as i can see my hand was very close an flying low then poof it it was moving like lighting there was no windows. Wasnt any exhaust trailing behind. Nothing or sound. Now anyone can say what they want it was very real. We had nothing that could come close that speed in the 70s an still dont.
